Even a discount retailer works like this: A supplier makes raw materials and marks it up to sell to a manufacturer. The manufacturer designs and makes items, then marks them up to sell to a distributor. The distributor marks them up and sells to bridal shops. The bridal shop marks them up and sells them. “We can make your veil detachable.”
Any bridal shop can sew a strip of hook-and-loop tape (Velcro) on your veil. This works fine for some brides. But depending on the style, Velcro can be overly bulky, unsightly, or snag your hairdo or clothing. We’ve developed some unique attachment methods that are secure and versatile. We will choose one with your input that will suit your needs and your design. Personally, we think nearly everyone should go with a detachable veil; a typical bride will have the headpiece attached early in the morning, then get in and out of cars, clothes and buildings several times during her special day. It makes for a lot less stress not to worry about a long veil.

“Everyone’s wearing them this way.”
Is it your head or everybody’s?

“The combs hold just fine.”
Some styles and hairdos will work to hold your headpiece all day. But for most brides the cheaper plastic combs are just not good enough. When you think about your wedding day, remember that you’ll probably wear this for 12+ hours at a stretch—and maybe with a big piece of fabric dragging behind you. There’s nothing more uncomfortable than trying to balance something that wants to slip off your head. LLW has developed several methods of secure attachment to suit your style, hairdo, and preferences. We can even hand-tint the attachment parts to match your hair, just in case they might show.

“We can order it for you.”
How long will that take? If you can’t see it, how do you know if it’ll be OK? If it isn’t right, who will fix it?

“We can bend it into the shape you want.”
Never fall for this! If it bent once, it’ll bend again. And the act of bending can crack and loosen delicate beads and trims. They could fall off. LLW will build your headpiece from the ground up from quality (or vintage) materials to exactly meet your needs. It’ll be strong, durable, well proportioned, and given to you in protective packaging.
