Our philosophy is to make beautiful, quality items in the spirit of the great fashion couture houses, uniquely appropriate to each client. At the same time, the pricing structure is comparable to what one finds for pre-made items in retail and bridal stores. Each client starts with a complimentary consultation. You’ll discuss directly with Suzette Mariotti, the designer and artisan, exactly what you want: what shapes, colors, trimmings or themes. You’ll examine samples and options so you can see up close the fine workmanship you can expect. She’ll ask you about where and how you’ll wear the creation. We will consider the style, location and what clothing will be worn with the hat or headpiece, and any other special requirements. Suzette will develop a design that’s right for you and fits your head. At this point, a fitting may be scheduled to make sure all is perfect before final delivery. The consultation can be at the studio, over the phone, or via email at your option. The portfolio shows some past creations.
